I feel like I'm on a roller coaster
Except I’m not securely strapped in….I’m just barely grasping on.
I’m worried that any minute I’m going to just lose everything!
I’m ready for this ride to stop and I’m ok getting off this roller coaster and just get on a kiddie ride for a little bit and have things go a little more smoothly, just for a little while.

That’s a mega dumb rule. Say you had a friend who is a professional baker make them for you if someone gives you shit. Do they think you’re going to poison the kids or something?

Since when is store-bought better than homemade?
Not better, just the rules. Only store bought food for the kiddos at school. But it’s almost $20 for 2 dozen cupcakes and I just couldn’t bring myself to do that.

I didn’t even finish half of my beer tonight.
Cupcakes are finishes. Chocolate chip, chocolate cake with a light mint buttercream icing. Pretty awesome. Now to pull them off as store bought tomorrow…..hopefully no one asks.

I’ll be in school Saturday morning, but I’ll be there as soon as I get out! I don’t know why they start school right before this weekend. They could’ve waited until the Monday after…oh, well. My daughter is dying to see Florence and the Machine.

I'm going this year!
I have not been as excited about the line ups in the past. Also, who wants to trample through the mud and all, since it rains every single year for Memphis in May, but this year the line up for Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival is better than it has been in the past and I think I will deal with trampling through the nasty weather this year.
